Review on 🔪 Protective Knife Guard for Chef Knives - Mercer Culinary, 8 Inch x 2 Inch by Aaron Wagner

I've been reading reviews of a very sharp Mercer bread knife and thought I needed a sheath in part because I didn't think a 10 inch blade would fit in my knife box and knife block. I was wrong. It fits well so I don't need a knife guard, but I tried it anyway and found it very difficult to get the blade in. The fit is too tight and the bread knife blade is difficult to insert. Ironically I'm afraid of cutting myself trying to insert the blade into the guard. I can't use it. Of course, the original packaging was damaged when the product was opened, so I cannot return it. I have other knife guards for other brands and none of them are difficult to use.
