Don't drive to Spain or Portugal without it! I can't believe how much easier this has made my journey around Iberia. Those who have traveled in Europe know how difficult it can be to find street signs (often in tiny letters, unlit, on the side of a building). The SD card was very useful, especially when driving in towns and cities when there is not enough time to consult road maps or atlases or to find signs. It will completely ruin the pronunciation of anything, and my husband and I laughed when he said "Massachusetts" instead of "Madrid" when he hit the street with the abbreviation "MA." But it got us everywhere we needed to go without making wrong turns. One note: when you first turn it on in Europe, it takes some time to find satellites, so go somewhere outside, turn it on and wait (instead of turning it on when you're renting a car in the crowded center of Madrid leave, and drive around in circles waiting for him like us).
