I drive a lot of long, poorly maintained gravel roads that are very remote and have very little cell phone coverage. As a result, I often have flats on my truck and horse trailers. Other cheaper pumps I've tried were slow and could rarely inflate my tires more than 45psi. I tested this slime pump in the field just a few weeks ago. The truck had a punctured tire of size 265/70R16. The spare, of course, was 15 psi. This pump increased the pressure from 15 psi to 60 psi in about 4 minutes. It's fast. The gauge is accurate and reads exactly the same as my digital tire gauges. The cables and air hose provide a long range when the tire is removed from the battery. The only thing this pump doesn't work for is topping up road bike tires. Because the air hose fitting threads onto the Schrader valve, a small amount of air is lost when the hose is unscrewed. This air loss is maybe 1 or 2 psi on my mountain bike but would be significant on my road bike tires. I would recommend this air pump to anyone who, like me, has had incredibly unlucky problems with flat tyres.
