Review on Bilstein 24029032 Shock Stabilizer: Optimal Performance for GM Light Trucks by Ron Thomas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Recommended - a massive improvement over worn out factory 92k shocks!

05 GMC 1500 Sierra 2WD, Crewcab I just bought a 92,000 mile truck and it had factory shocks (blue) on all four corners. I don't know how the truck felt from the factory, but when I bought it, driving over bumpy roads and train tracks was terrible. The truck also felt very "tired" when entering and exiting corners. bilstein 4600 (replaced front and rear) greatly improved driving on rough roads and made cornering much more stable. It still handles like a truck (oversprung in the rear and slack in the front), but the handling has been greatly improved.

  • Decent Performance
