They were less than a year old and 8K.

They are less than a year and 8,000 miles old and have been removed. Should be returned to Bilstein under warranty. Let's see if they will endorse their products.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

Delivery was great.

These shock absorbers shipped from California. I received my hits in 3 days. It says they usually ship in 1 to 2 months. Not in my case, I couldn't believe they ran 3200 miles in 3 days. Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Nice ride for a nice ride

Made my '99 Silverado LT like new. Actually better than new as it no longer has the problem of building a segmented highway like it used to. Stable, not rough. in the words of a Bilstein representative, "controlled". I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Product not as advertised

These shock absorbers work great. This review is for the seller, not the product. Item arrived without original packaging, did not match any of the other 3 I had ordered which came in boxes/original packaging. One end looks like it's been tried before, and the metal around the hub is a completely different style; while the other end has a completely different style sleeve. The blue dust cover is discolored either due to cleaning or because it is old.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Everything OK

Recommended - a massive improvement over worn out factory 92k shocks!

05 GMC 1500 Sierra 2WD, Crewcab I just bought a 92,000 mile truck and it had factory shocks (blue) on all four corners. I don't know how the truck felt from the factory, but when I bought it, driving over bumpy roads and train tracks was terrible. The truck also felt very "tired" when entering and exiting corners. bilstein 4600 (replaced front and rear) greatly improved driving on rough roads and made cornering much more stable. It still handles like a truck (oversprung in the rear and slack in

Excellent shock service

Bought shock absorbers for my 2003 Sierra 1500. I changed the leaf springs from 3 leaf to 5 leaf. I also added slightly taller front coil springs with 1.5" spacers to keep the front flush with the rear. So when I bought the stock Bilstein shocks from 4Wheel Drive Hardware/Revain, they were about 3/4" shorter. Not bad because I don't ride off-road, but I'm kind of OCD when it comes to things like this. So I sent the shocks back to 4Wheel Drive Hardware/Revain with no problems and purchased the…
