Review on Actuator 22020256 22062740 22071947 16603085 by Sandro Pierce

Revainrating 3 out of 5

You get what you pay for.

This is definitely a cheap fake of the original drives. They're inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. They don't have a rubber cap on the electrical connector like the originals so I'm wondering if there will be corrosion issues on the wire connectors over time. I needed 3 of these but I ordered 4 because I decided to keep the extra one as a spare. However, one had to be returned as it was defective. It barely moved in one direction and not at all in the other. They fit both the front and rear doors on either side of the 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 Crew Cab. On some doors I just had to unscrew the included mounting bracket and reverse it so the actuator was facing the right way. None of these bracket screws are shipped tightened, so be sure to check them before installing the drive. I don't know why but only one of the 4 drives came with accessories. This one had 4 rivets and 4 clips. For the rest I had to come up with my own rivets. Another problem I had with 2 of the 4 drives was that the wire terminal blades were loose. The plug would simply push the blade into the drive instead of going into the slot. I had to make a notch in two of the blades to hold them in place when plugged in. I gave this 3 stars because of the low price and the fact that they lock and unlock doors. Time will tell how long they actually last.
