Exactly what I wanted/needed

I bought this pad for a Persian rug, which is an odd size. I was afraid it would be difficult to cut down to fit my rug, but it wasn't too difficult at all. I was able to trim it down with a pair of household scissors, so now it fits perfectly. The rubber backing will help keep it in place, and the1/4 inch thick felt pad will protect the rug from abrasion, plus it's a bit cushier to walk on. Price was fair, as well, so it was a good value.

Pros

Prevents slips and falls, particularly for the elderly or those with mobility issues

Cons

Can reduce air flow around the room
