Works very well, very easy to use

I recently decided to save more money and was looking for ways to shorten my everyday life. The woman suggested hanging out the laundry as the dryer uses a lot of electricity. I searched how to hang clothesline and found that this product is often bought with this clothesline http://www.amazon.com .com/gp/product/B004Y75R0S/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc= 1 So I gave it a try and ordered two of these along with a clothesline. I wasn't sure yet how it would work, but I knew I wanted to hang my laundry between two backyard trees that are conveniently 45 feet apart. I have no idea if I used this tool correctly or not. , but I threaded the cord through one of the holes at the end of the turnbuckle, then around a branch of a tree about 10" in diameter, then through the hole at the other end of this turnbuckle, then through the center hole and started wrapping until I felt there was enough cord wrapped around the center (about six turns). Then I did the same thing around another tree, this time pulling harder until the line was as straight as possible. I then returned to the first tree and put on a few more twists until I couldn't twist anymore. So, again, I don't know how to use this cable tensioner, but it works beautifully. I fill up the line with clothes every weekend and they are holding up great. Last weekend I hung up all my heavy dog blankets and sofa covers that needed washing and it was very windy. The line held, the blankets didn't touch the ground and the wind wasn't a problem. The tensioners have never loosened or shown signs of wear. I had to take a puff once after hanging out my first load of laundry, but I think it was the line stretch, not the tensioners. If the lines stretch a little more I think it's very easy to tighten them up again. Also worth noting is that there is a lever on this tensioner that you can press, which allows you to loosen the cable if you need to remove it. I mostly leave my clothesline up, but sometimes I had to take it off because it got in the way. So it was nice to be able to do that and then just bring it back. I am very happy with this result and can't wait to see my reduced electricity bill.
