I find these scratches too easy

I really wanted to fall in love with this set. They are easy to clean. Cooking reliability is difficult to determine. I need to have a stove on my electric stove that is under the boil to boil eggs. I was very disappointed that they scratched me very easily with metal tools even though I was as gentle as possible. I bought this set to replace 35 year old Farberware pots and pans. I see myself replacing them in a year or two.
