Triple charm. Was looking for a straight plug adapter, found another brand and tried that first. The device is charging (normal speed, not fast), but no data is being transferred. I couldn't find anything else in this configuration on Amazon. So I found a custom made adapter online for $20 and had to wait weeks for it to arrive from Hong Kong. Get the adapter, plug it in and the same thing happens as the first time. Searched Amazon again, found this MZHOU adapter and decided to try again, assuming the case's cable was to blame. Connect this adapter and finally fast charging and data transfer. It was actually the cheapest of the three, so a win in every category. I'm finally happy that all my ports on my PC are working as advertised.
