Revainrating 5 out of 5

Smart and efficient

I am giving a 5 star rating because I think the product is a great idea and it works relatively well compared to other products. My biggest complaint is that the length of the cables on the sensors is too short. Not sure why they are so short but my guess is that the seller controls the overall cost of the product and the copper wire is so expensive. In my case I had to mount the display further, but that wasn't a problem as I was able to shorten and lengthen the wire. I needed to have the display at face level and mount the sensors on a platform for my stairway to the house, which is the hurdle I bought this product around. ADVANCED USERS: This device is nothing more than an Arduino under the hood with 2 ultrasonic sensors. sensors. I'm going to use it as is for now, but I can launch the IDE and rewrite the code a bit so the screen flashes at my "setpoint" when my wife's car is fully parked in the garage. It has Auto Wake and Screen Sleep out of the box, but once you know how many inches you have before you hit the front wall, you can tweak it. (This requires you to write your own code from scratch, but it's actually not that hard). Please note that this will void your warranty, so do this at your own risk. Again, this is not a criticism of the product, but a huge plus in my opinion. I like the plastic case and display and don't want to DIY them myself.
