Review on EZ Oil Drain Valve Removable by Chris Walker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The installation guide is hard to understand but EZ-106 fits my Ranger

EZ-106 fits my 2002 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0L SOHC perfectly. Bet on this one, but I'm glad I did. This one will stay on my truck forever! I just want it to include a hose to connect to the injector. Looking forward to my next oil change! UPDATE: Well, I just changed my oil with this valve for the first time and am very satisfied! I had a hard time turning the lever at first because I couldn't remember if it was pushing and then sliding or moving up and then sliding. I thought it was stuck but it opened easily once I found the right direction. Draining the old motor oil was so easy and clean. I bought some 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD vinyl tubing that fitted the nozzle perfectly and I didn't need a drain pan, the other end of the tubing went straight into a 1 gallon disposable pitcher. Once the jug was full, I simply closed the valve, put the tube in a new container, and proceeded to drain the water. Now if there was only a way to avoid the oil filter mess, I'd be up for it.
