How many times does a retailer have to get feedback that a vacuum pump seal is wrong before the item can be repaired? The gasket inside the box is a solid piece of metal. The official Volkswagen/Audi part consists of three laminated parts that are three times thicker. The other parts of the project were fine, but I was short on time so I bought a suitable gasket from a local dealer.
