I had old mooring lines. They were several years old. They worked great so I never wanted to replace them. The only reason I'm replacing them is because they fell in the water the last time I was outside. Bought it because I really like the color. It matches many other colors of my coat. They are way better than my old lines. You already have a 12" long island that is connected and blocked. This makes it easy to use as a mooring line. The best thing about these new lines is that they are very soft. I never have to worry about them scratching the outside of my boat. Be it for mooring or for use with my bumpers.
