The added UV light and nano photocatalyst attracted me to this device. I've tried many different air purifiers with HEPA filters over the years, but the cost of replacing filters isn't cheap in the long run. This portable air purifier comes with a UV light and nano TiO2 filter and is reasonably priced so it ticks all of my search criteria. There are only 3 things in the box: cleaner, USB cable and user manual. Setup was as easy as a breeze, just plug it in, press the power button and you're good to go. I'm glad I followed my instinct and tried this product because it suits my small workspace perfectly! I connect the air purifier to my computer with the included USB cable, and then just sit back and enjoy clean fresh air while I work. It doesn't take up much space at all, and when it's running low it's so quiet you don't even notice it's on. Yes, there are two tiers to choose from - low and high. Although it works more efficiently at high levels it does make some noise, I would say it's the same noise level as my other purifiers. Cleaning the filter is very simple: pull out the tab and gently brush away the dust with a soft brush (I use an old toothbrush). No more buying new filters for this air purifier. Because it's so light and portable, I also try to use it with my portable power bank and take it with me wherever I need clean, odor-free air. I've tried it in the car, in the bathroom, and even once at Starbucks! I love how it keeps the air fresh and cool and since using it I sneeze less. But what impressed me the most was that I put it in my son's room last night. Normally I don't feel like going into his room because I'm allergic to dust, pollen and all sorts of bad smells... but after leaving this little device in his room for 5 hours (at a high level), all of these lingering odors are gone. It's a normal room again!
