I bought this to eliminate the pops and buzz I got when connecting the Bluetooth receiver to my Bose headphones. I cut out all the noise leaving just a nice sound BUT I also cut out the left speaker. I ran a bunch of tests with different cables and different headphones and found the following: The combination of the bluetooth adapter and this product always cut off the left channel from any headset with extra cables. This product alone, without a Bluetooth adapter, does not remove the left channel from wired headsets. According to the manufacturer it was a defect and I was able to send it back.
