Darice obviously has several manufacturers of wooden embroidery frames. They seem to switch suppliers often because you never know what you're going to get online or in stores. Tires made in Taiwan are of much better quality. You pay more attention to detail and the edges/surfaces are enhanced. On the other hand, tires made in China are of inferior quality. The edges of the circlet are not even and not polished, there are fragments everywhere. I have received shipments from both suppliers so ordering online is a godsend. You can get a good wholesale discount online, but you can't choose the quality. My advice to Daris is to stick with the Taiwanese manufacturer; I would rather pay more for their products than waste time polishing poor quality.
