Review on ๐Ÿณ Black Spring Eggbeater 1 by Clayton Jimenez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Light, Heavy, Unstable

These pedals are inexpensive but heavy. A major benefit of Eggbeaters is that it's easy for new riders to latch on to, the novelty wears off quickly for those of us training for strength. The lugs are too floating to feel stable when pedaling, minimizing the sense of "oneness" with the drivetrain. The proof was on Strava when I set the same power with the platform pedals. They are good for acclimatization/training but not for performance and certainly not for racing. Look, the Keo Blade Carbon pedals are on their way.
