Always buy OEM sensors. This is Chinese junk

One rule to follow with your cars is to always buy OEM camshaft and crankshaft position sensors, even wheel sensors. If you compare this sensor to an OEM sensor with a magnet, you will feel a big difference in pull - the OEM will pull hard and this Chinese sensor will have little pull. I bought this when I was in a bind with my 2009 Altima 3.5 engine. Although the sensor worked without providing any codes, this in turn caused a surprising starting problem where the engine revved three times longer to start compared to the OEM. I put the OEM sensor back in and it fired right away, so I know it's a weak magnet in a Chinese sensor that takes a long time to generate a signal. You will want to buy a DENSO sensor that is OEM for that vehicle/engine. I'd give it one star because it created a new problem, but I'd give it two because it actually works when your engine actually starts. I'd love to return it, but since I've used it I'm throwing it aside as a replacement.
