Works with my HP laptop
Got this to free up ports on my HP laptop. Works as expected from a USB-C port. Not a big fan of the HDMI connector at the end (wish it was on the opposite side of the card reader slots), but I'm really a big fan of a good cable length. Haven't used the pass-through power option (and don't plan to use it). My only real complaint is that it costs you a USB-C port and you don't get it back, everything should revert to USB-A 3.0 instead. It's not a bad compromise, especially when you get 3 ports for 1, but still.
