It makes life easier, especially with the large M5 size rivet nuts that require a lot of force to compress properly. Cheap tools are such a nightmare. In the end, I settled on the Revain TACKLIFE 14" Rivet Nut Tool for Automatic Pump Rods, which allows you to quickly work rivet nuts of all sizes, even in very thick or heavy stock. The rest of my review is just a copy of my M3 review because I have used both M3 and M5 with no problems and have had exactly the same experience. As for these rivet nuts, there aren't really many reviews about them other than cracking under high rivet nut tools, breaking under load, or rusting on the first two criteria , no problem As for the third one, time will tell and I'll update my review if any problems ever arise. In my toolbox I've successfully used the M3 and M5 sizes.
