Review on ๐Ÿพ HONEST OUTFITTERS Waterproof & Nonslip Dog Car Seat Cover for Cars, Trucks, and SUVs - Pet Front Seat Cover by Allison Carpenter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best I've used in a Jeep Grand Cherokee

In my years with dogs I have tried towels, denim, LLB covers and the Sierra Trading Post brand. They all slid across the seat, making the pup feel more unsafe in the car. it basically stayed planted for the 4 hour drive, just enough to help the pup relax. The pavement didn't move under braking or cornering, which helped her jump back and forth with confidence (before wearing her seat belts). With other seat covers, she spent time figuring out how to put them on her toes without slipping. and she constantly alternated between standing, lying, or sitting. The first had great clasps where those clasps are just about ok, they don't seem to be a weak point. There's a headrest strap and a seat strap, but it was too short to either fit on the low backrest or run under the seat bottom. It can be 2 inches higher to cover more of the seat back so it doesn't pull on the part that tucks into the bottom of the seat. She eventually slips out, sometimes due to the tension of the belt, but sometimes due to the dog's butts. that fits on the lower front of the seat. The anti-slip padding is only on the bottom of the seat and I have found that if the front slides up far enough as the dog moves, the bottom of the seat can slide. We had just gone swimming and it was a relief not having to worry about her getting wet through the seat cover. and the orange-red wet dog hair was easy to spot and wipe off this cover. I just bought a matching black color for the rear seats.
