Review on Complete Acrylic Nail Kit - Including Acrylic Powder, Monomer Acrylic Nail Liquid, Brush, Forms, Tips And Instructions For Long-Lasting Acrylic Nail Extensions by Gregory Rasmussen

Worst smelling monomer EVER.

The acrylic itself was not too bad. The quality of the brushes was not great but not awful either. For the price, this is not a bad set for a beginner to get a small sampling of lots of colored acrylic powders and useful tools. Take my advice, though, and do not open this monomer. The smell was nauseating. I’m not even kidding. I have had acrylics on my nails for over twenty years and have never smelled monomer this bad in my entire life. I know that the advice from everyone is to use the same brand of monomer as acrylic powder, but this smell is just intolerable. I am not even a person who is sensitive to smell and I found myself trying to hold my breath while doing just one nail. That was all I could take. I feel like I’m going to smell the stuff in my nightmares. Do yourself a favor and just use a different monomer. Not only did it smell terrible, but it dried incredibly quickly which made it difficult for a beginner.

Pros
  • It is just as good if not better then the expensive
Cons
  • it’s good for a beginner but the brush got ruined quickly. Also has a small but not strong of a smell.
