I took it to replace the standard Ryzen 1700 cooler, it cools better by 15 degrees in idle (45-55 degrees tcpl when surfing the Internet with a standard cooler and 35-40 on this cooling + noticeably lower noise level (for loads up to 3.2mhz)) during overclocking at 3.5 mhz for all cores and a voltage of 1.2, the regular one gave out 90 degrees, and with a further run at 3.6-3.7 it went into reboot, and on this cooler the stress test at 3.75 mhz and a voltage of 1.275 to 70 degrees with revolutions up to 1100 calmly passed. in the design because a regular cooler is not a tower and heat is dissipated differently, and I would not have noticed such a difference compared to some kind of deep cooler, but I decided to choose this cooler with the declared tdp margin for overclocking . I have nothing to compare with. (in the apartment 26-28, winter, they heat well :) ) I will probably be killed for the crooked smearing of thermal paste, but because there are no blades, I did it with a syringe of thermal paste from the kit :), the left bolt of fastening the cooling to the socket is not convenient to put on, but it’s not a big problem (you can see in the photo) I changed it, most likely the regular cooler would normally hold 3.6-3.7 mhz., but overclocking on it is not possible in the long run, but on this one we will still compete with some 2700x-3700x :) And, yes, I have a strange motherboard asrock fatality gaming x z170, which, without overclocking, cuts the processor cores by 3.2 in the state even in turbo boost, and further configuration is done manually by BIOS settings.
