Best suited for teapots without pipes
I agree with the reviews that the kettle does not whistle. Too bad, especially for me, because I've already burned 3 pots, been busy with something and didn't hear the whistle, so now I have to stand and wait for the water to boil so this kettle doesn't burn. I need a kettle that whistles loudly, but this one definitely doesn't. That's why reading reviews is so important. Addendum: After leaving the water in the kettle overnight I noticed that there were rust spots on the kettle. I drained the water and cleaned the pot and the rust is back. This is a beautiful teapot, but it is true that all that glitters is not gold. It's garbage! Please don't waste your money.
