Love the idea of an easy way to add a D-ring attachment point to my car carrier. Unfortunately, they didn't fit in my betting pockets. I'm not sure if the lighter trailers use a stamped channel but my trailer uses a traditional steel channel and the inside corners where there is a crease will not allow these zip ties to be inserted. Just not enough ground clearance. Also, one of the issues for me was that only the inner part of the "c" is welded on where the D-rings attach. I would take them to work to weld them from the outside as well. The welds looked decent for the most part, but I would have felt better putting my seam on it and coating it on both sides. Still looks like a decent product just doesn't work for me.
