Review on 🔌 KRUPS BW710D51 Cool-touch Stainless Steel Electric Kettle: Adjustable Temperature & 1.7-Liter Capacity by Candace Ortiz

This kettle was purchased to replace one I bought almost 20 years ago. I moved here from Australia and we use kettles for tea and instant coffee on a daily basis. This first stainless steel Krups kettle (not cordless, no temperature control, only boiling function) was one of my favorites until it started leaking a bit in the level window. He really had a great move. I'm hoping for the same value from this second Krups kettle. Materials seem to get cheaper over time and Krups is no exception - the grip is lower quality for this generation, a bit stretchy so I don't expect it to last 20 years. But it's durable and I'm sure it will last for many years. Good, durable quality stainless steel body. My favorite feature is the attached lid, which opens and closes at the touch of a button (see video). I really like that I now have a temperature controlled kettle as I drink a lot of different types of tea, as well as coffee from a French press. This was definitely a welcome update. In the retail version this kettle does not work, the power of this kettle is 1500w, as the seller told me, and also according to the sticker on the bottom of the kettle. It's a nice big boil, but not as fast as I was hoping. It still delivers excellent performance and I am completely satisfied with this quality device.
