This part was used to repair the igniter on our new Frigidaire Rang/Oven. While adjusting the frying hole (we have LP, not NG, the product is preset for NG) the key fell out of my hand and destroyed the original igniter. This new one has a cage around a small piece that's covered in porcelain and gets hot, so hopefully we won't have any other issues. The design is better than the original IMO. Another thing to note is that you will need to screw the wires to your old igniter's existing pigtail, and if you're using the included high-temp porcelain nuts. Polarity (+/-) doesn't matter since it's a short circuit. Hope this helps someone!
