ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! in Parts & Accessories

Update: We originally gave it 5 stars because it worked right away BUT after just 7 months it failed. Update #2 We contacted the seller's customer service department who was not very friendly or helpful and said the part was covered by a 90 day warranty and no more. Now we need to find another $150 replacement for something that should last for years. This part is defective and must be replaced by the manufacturer. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Ideal for oven parts and accessories

6 year series and my 3rd igniter. The factory lasted 3 years. 2. 18 months - Was an aftermarket station wagon that at 18 months had no pull rod to operate the gas valve. Installation takes 5 minutes and is easy with basic tools. Don't pay $150-$200 to have someone come and do it for you. In most cases, pull out the bottom drawer, the uprights, the oven floor, the heat shield, the 2 screws that hold it in place, and the connector underneath the unit that is accessible from the back of the…

Works fine but didn't solve the problem.

The igniter works fine but it turned out that the problem was not with the gas valve. Our oven took over 20 minutes to come up to temperature and the description of how the circuit worked made it difficult to tell if the problem was the igniter or the gas valve. The igniter is a lot cheaper than the valve so I replaced it first but that didn't fix the problem. The gas valve assembly has been replaced, now it heats up as fast as when new. Seems to be an odd design. After buying it, I found the…

My oven is working again

I purchased this item on September 15, 2019. It came exactly as pictured, with a plastic plug and no cage. It came bubble wrapped in a box with an Electrolux factory tag. This box was inside another box with bubble wrap and brown paper packing material. It took 5 minutes to install and the oven (baking) is working properly again. At the moment I give it 4 stars and maybe in 6 months I will upgrade it to 5 if there are no problems. My only disappointment is that this stove was purchased 14…

Better design than the original

This part was used to repair the igniter on our new Frigidaire Rang/Oven. While adjusting the frying hole (we have LP, not NG, the product is preset for NG) the key fell out of my hand and destroyed the original igniter. This new one has a cage around a small piece that's covered in porcelain and gets hot, so hopefully we won't have any other issues. The design is better than the original IMO. Another thing to note is that you will need to screw the wires to your old igniter's existing pigtail,

  • Works great for me

  • When in doubt

Who packed this fragile item?

I expect the part will work well but I can't say because it arrived broken. There were 2 pieces of foam padding in the box, but they conveniently placed in the box without attaching a piece in between. Instead, the part itself was dropped next to the gasket, so the thin ceramic that is actually heated to ignite the gas inside the furnace was completely destroyed, either in packaging or during shipping. Maybe next time they could include a roll of duct tape that they didn't use either, or maybe…

OEM replacement, works great!

My Frigidaire gas range started behaving strangely when using the oven, preheating seemed to take forever. A couple of times I smelled gas and the stove only got a little warm. Normally I could turn off the oven and try restarting it and it would light up. I could clearly see the igniter glowing through the vents and thought it was a problem with the gas valve. After more research, my problem was consistent with a faulty igniter. The stove only warmed up from the heat of the igniter and the…

It's not what they sell you. No connector, different part.

Well that was a disappointment. In several directions. Firstly the part they are selling does not match the picture. See attached picture: The original (below) has an open igniter and a plastic plug. The replacement (above) was enclosed in a metal cage with no plug. Also note the two metal covers (two holes in each) for attaching to the stove instead of just one. Second, there is no plastic plug. I had to cut wires from a broken original part that I kept (and luckily still had with me) and make
