I expect the part will work well but I can't say because it arrived broken. There were 2 pieces of foam padding in the box, but they conveniently placed in the box without attaching a piece in between. Instead, the part itself was dropped next to the gasket, so the thin ceramic that is actually heated to ignite the gas inside the furnace was completely destroyed, either in packaging or during shipping. Maybe next time they could include a roll of duct tape that they didn't use either, or maybe some plastic bubble wrap with no air in the bubbles. It would save us all a lot of time if it broke right at the factory and got shipped to me right away, protected enough to arrive safely. Now I have to wait who knows how many days for another part before I can repair my oven. We don't actually use the oven for cooking or anything. Thanks very much!
