Edit: Added two stars because I think I figured it out after trying the third and fourth candle. Cracked? It turns out that one end tapers a bit. If you try to insert the tube into the base you will find that only one end will fit. I think this end is smaller than the other. So if you try to pull the candle out of the smaller end (by pulling on the tip of the wick, not the end), it just won't come out because it's too wide at the end of the mold. .My third candle came out without hesitation, because I pushed her out from behind. The fourth did the same. Now I grease the mold with some really old post-bath body butter that I don't particularly like (reuse, reuse, then recycle), fill the candle and let it dry completely, then pop it in the freezer for an hour. I have half a plug that I thought one end narrowed and the other broke off and two full plugs from shoving them up the asshole. In this scenario I get an average of two and a half candles a day>.> Original review edited lengthwise: The first candle broke into several pieces when I tried to pull it out of the mold. I then tried to knock it out of shape with the wooden handle of a spoon but to no avail. I ended up having to spend 20 minutes heating kettles of water and pouring candles, only for the candle to finally come on broke off and immediately broke into multiple pieces. Not a single usable centimeter is visible! I threw it away and went back to the drawing board. The second spark plug was greased and frozen before I tried to pull it out. Had exactly the same problem. Didn't struggle with it that much before going straight into boiling water for another 20 minutes and slowly pouring into mold. I got half a candle (the front end broke off when it came out) in my 3 hours of trouble. should not even be used for molds more than 25 years. (Note: Pill bottles make great vow molds, and they're free. Also, the candles just pop out with a quick tug on the wick.) If this thing still refuses to give me candles, I'll send it back. I'll try again and I'll update if I'm successful. The second candle was lubricated and frozen to the point when I tried to take it out. Had exactly the same problem.
