It's definitely worth $40.
They say there are no duplicate games, but there are a lot of them. You've got Sonic, you've got Pac-Man, Miss Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, X-Men, Spider-Man, Ghostbusters 2, Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Bros, a whole bunch of Super Mario Bros, 4 mortals fights Some games don't work, the down arrow key sometimes stays pressed and you have to touch it to bring it back up. I have saved games but I can't find the saved games. I think I need to read the manual a bit more. The battery was already charged when I received the console, I have no idea how long the battery will last. I think the game console is worth the price, but the little round joystick with an arrow is useless. There is no AV cable included to connect the TV.
- Maintain game archive. During gameplay, press the SELECT button to save/exit/restart the game. Next time you continue playing, you can load and save your progress without restarting. This is a very useful feature.
