Review on High-performance TRENDnet 54Mbps Wireless G USB Adapter TEW-424UB - Boost Your Wireless Connectivity by Robert Cooper

I bought this about a month ago because the built in Wi-Fi adapter in my laptop keeps dropping out. TRENDnet installed on my Windows 7 32-bit machine without the need for the CD that came with it. It works every time. However, it's much less sensitive than the adapter in my laptop (when it's working). Right now, TRENDnet is connected to my Wi-Fi router, which is about 5 feet from my computer, but it can't even see my two neighbors' systems. The laptop adapter can see these two devices all the time. For $12, it serves my purpose, but I definitely can't use it when we're traveling and need to connect to the RV's Wi-Fi systems.
