This year I bought a small house with a swimming pool and found that the rubber dampers on the stair legs were dry. They will fall, exposing the metal ends of the pipes and could damage the pool liner. I immediately ordered a replacement and they helped. Fits snugly and protects the liner from the ends of the stairs.
