I suppose I could learn how to use this for hamburgers but personally I don't need it for hamburgers and unless you want to make "stuffed burgers" " It's a little too difficult. However, you don't pay too much for the development and you can ignore this part. I haven't used mine to make actual burgers. However, I've tried veggie burgers and I can't get them to come out clean, even with cooking spray. If you have trouble with ground beef, I'd recommend warming the mixture to room temperature just before pressing the burgers and then either dumping it on the grill or in the freezer. Otherwise. . . works well. But not good enough for me to probably use instead of just making cakes by hand.
