I decided to try this as an alternative to the typical plastic cutting boards I use which need to be replaced 2 or 3 times a year. I argued, but in the end I decided I wasn't going to throw more plastic into the landfill than cutting boards. I really enjoy using this product! I use it on fruits and veggies and use it at least a few times a day. That way I can just wash it off when I'm done and use the piece again the next day. The cutter on the box works very well. I have recommended this product to friends who cook a lot like me.
