I bought this GPS on the recommendation of another driver. GPS is generally very good for its price. We drove from the east coast to the west coast and the GPS guidance was pretty accurate. Everything worked just as well as the $400 units on the market. Now minuses. For some strange reason, when you change your address, you have to enter your country and then select your state. I can handle it, it's a small thing. The manufacturer claims that the device has lifetime updates. I can't find how to update the block in the instructions or on the Xgody website. The FAQ states that you need to contact technical support, who will send you an update. I have written to them twice and still have not received any reply regarding the updates. Summary. The device itself is good, about four stars. Attempting to get help from tech support ranging from half to one star. Hope this helps future buyers.
