Have you ever tried plunge saws? Much luck. Bought a Rockwell saw, same problem. The task was to scrape 1/2 inch of the misplaced 2x6 support stud in the corner that was about to shed the drywall. The next bolt was awfully close (about 10 inches), making any sort of power tool cutting almost impossible. I couldn't get the plane to 2x6 because the top of the frame had driven in a lot of nails that would have destroyed the plane. I found this tool and decided to try it. I hooked it up to a Makita angle grinder, the adapters that came with the blade work great, attached the 90 degree handle to the tool and got to work. I had a 1/2 inch shave in under 5 minutes. It was an awful 5 minutes, but she gnawed right through nails and wood. Not the best cut in the world due to lack of guides, but this blade saved a life.
