No automatic day/night switching but still a good camera

I ran the camera for Octoprint and the day quality seemed pretty good compared to my Logitech C270 webcam (low standard resolution). be. There was some artifacting every now and then, but I wasn't overly concerned as it was mainly used for checking my 3D prints. However, it will never go into night mode even if the IR LED is on. I've looked at other brands that look the same and have a third automatic sensor under the camera lens. So I believe this contains the wrong information as I didn't have the 3rd sensor and they are not mapped with it. I have contacted the seller and he will give me a third sensor model at a discount. Pros: - Manual focus is great - There is a locking screw to lock focus - IR light included - 70 degrees was good for my purpose Cons - There was no automatic day/night mode switching - IR lights are always on and I knows what It mentions that they can be on for a long time but are supposed to turn off automatically - the IR lamps get hot so I'd recommend adding small heatsinks on the back (14mm) to extend the life patience or small ones Hands. Also, I can't comment on the 1080p quality, but that would have been great for my purposes considering it had an automatic sensor.
