Our old remote controls - with three young children - have seen an incredible amount of abuse. Liquids were poured on them, they were dropped from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor, they were kicked, kicked, etc. They were badly beaten and we had to replace them. One still worked perfectly, the other was a bit finicky after being abused. but both labels had worn off, and we often wondered which buttons did what. So my wife ordered two new ones. Excellent value, they work great and allow us to use our TVs again without having to guess which buttons do what. Very satisfied. My only regret is that we didn't think of it sooner.
