Review on Bumpers 15712438 Compatible Silverado 1999 2007 by Eddie Duncan

I am a 66 year old retiree not very strong. I installed it with a latch on a 6" long hinged mini ratchet, but with this tiny ratchet, the small round flat "head" on the wedge bolt broke and punctured both the rubber and metal shell. I had to remove both , remove the substandard hardware from the second and replace all hardware with a solid #5 bolt, washer and nut.The color shown on the line is orange but arrived as an ugly brown.The cup is 1/3 the weight of the metal of the original. That's easy. You MUST replace this unit prior to installation or it will fall straight to hell if the rear axle hits it. Consider using an old cup instead of the ones provided if yours isn't rusty.
