GREAT FIND! on collars, harnesses and leashes

My husband was a keen hunter until he passed away in 2008 and we always used electronic collars to teach him English Pointers. His last hunting dog, which became my house dog, died in 2014 at the age of 14. It was probably the most loving dog I've ever had. I didn't think I'd ever need an e-collar again and what I had was broken anyway so I gave it away. Then in October 2014 a friend of a friend called me and asked if I would go for a purebred collar. They found a nearly dead English Pointer next to a highway in Virginia. I didn't want to because I know how messed up they are and they're barely 2 years old, I'm not spayed and I'm 65 years old. I couldn't say no. So I took it. It only took about a week to make him an indoor dog, but when I took him outside he was a handful. I lunged like a horse to see if I could control him but give him some leeway. It didn't work that well, but I kept going. When spring finally came, all he had to do was run the 25 acres behind my house. He did not come when called and was sometimes absent for 6 hours. I was so afraid that I would lose him. I chose an electronic collar. I felt like he was training with him because when I put a bell collar on him he responded like an electronic collar. Of course, smart as they were, he realized I had no control over the bell collar. I searched the internet for about 6 months to finally find this Pet Resolve dog collar. It was easy to understand and set up, inexpensive, waterproof, with a good range (1200 yards) and efficient. I took my dog in the day after I got him collar trained only to find out he understood the e-collar. Whoever lost him must have taught him how to hunt. I only had to shock him once and then give a sign. Now it comes immediately with a beep. I can let him go without fear of losing him. I'm not a hunter but I know these dogs need a lot of exercise which I couldn't give them without fear of losing them until I got this collar. I thought I had a beep problem and Ben from customer service responded to my email very quickly. I am very satisfied with the attitude towards the buyers of this collar! This is an easy to use collar and the range is longer than many much more expensive e-collars I've had in the past or considered in my recent research. I highly recommend this e-collar.
