Review on Global G-4 7-Inch: The Ultimate Oriental Chef's Knife - Precision and Quality Combined! by Mike Mahfood

Now I understand why people are obsessed with Global knives. I've been a Wüsthof fan for a few years, but I'm not always 100% satisfied. This knife was available in the Amazon warehouse at a slight discount, so I took a chance and bought it. The box was damaged, but everything is fine with the knife. It's ridiculously sharp, so I was very careful at first. But i really like it. This is exactly how I always wanted my knife to be. It cuts so clean and is the perfect size for me. I always thought 8" knives were too big for my hand and used a 6" Wusthof knife. It's a bit bigger but still good. Personally, I wouldn't take more, but that's just personal preference. I also argued between this and a regular chef's knife (I chose it because it was on sale), but I'm happy with the shape. I can't compare the two as I haven't tried the other, but you can use this one with the swinging motion you're used to using chef's knives for. Overall super satisfied.
