I liked that it looked durable and well made. My 3 year old, 17 lb terrier mix is a bit scared of driving in a car. We used a padded kennel that belonged to our previous dog. When he was little he peed. He got a little better and then got tired of the car after the ride. I read a lot and decided to try since he can see and see me. He sits in the back and can see out the window and he can see me very well. It's still early, but I think he's doing better. He still doesn't like driving, but he loves going to the park and all, so we need a way to get him there without drama. I liked the price. I should have raised the price a bit to get a slightly larger strap. Most in my preferred price range were for toy breeds. He can sit and lie down, but he has no free space. That's my "fault" but I can live with it. I feel like he's safer, and in the previous kennel he crawled onto the floor between the seats - and that's not good.
