Although it works as a charger, I bought it mainly for the Wi-Fi connection and the app and it doesn't work there. The app is incredibly simple. It really just tells you what its charge and voltage are. It was impossible to connect the device to WiFi. First, it only supports 2.4GHz. Many access points set up their network with a single SSID that operates on both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz. Not all customers support this, including this charger. Even after reconfiguring my network to have a separate name for the 2.4GHz network, I couldn't get it to work. Tech support asked me to send them the device they set up the charger on with my SSID/passphrase and sent it back. It was connected to the network at the time, but the very simple nature of the application rendered it mostly meaningless.
