I was just about to order a kitchen timer in addition to my previous one when I came across this device. It does what it promises: It offers three separately programmable timers in one device, each with its own signal tone and flashing light. The controls are extremely easy to use; At least for those who are familiar with modern electronic devices. On the M318 block, despite the description above, there is no switch as such. The volume of the beeper in the maximum setting (there is a high/low/mute switch on the side) is sufficient, but not particularly loud. (If you want a loud sound I highly recommend ordering the Thermoworks Extra Big & Loud Timer direct from their website, NOT the double priced equivalent you can find at ETI, Ltd.) Two AAA batteries are included , but someone should tell them that the BURSTO brand name on the battery does not inspire confidence. All in all a very useful and well thought out device.
