I bought the scanner for what it claims to be capable of, but upon receipt I found that the manufacturer had built in all the reset and relearn functions that my other scanner with the same functionality would have. App mall requiring purchase of each reset or re-learning feature. They were $15 each when I got the scanner but jumped to $50 after the last update and they also added a $100/year fee to the automaker which totals to $1200/year to keep up to date to stay. a scanner with a fancy display unless you buy all the extra resets at the app mall. If I was going to pay 1200 a year I would buy an Outel for that price, which gives me bi-directional control and the ability to transcode just about anything I want. I was hoping this scanner would be good value for money but made false promises and became more mine than Autel, Snap On or Matco and at least they would give me the bi-directional control that comes with the $1000+ price tag dollars.
