Installed on a '99 Blazer. They are for the tailgate or tailgate, they will not fit the rear window. They fit snugly on the tailgate and are easy to assemble. You will need help or something strong to hold the tailgate while you install the cylinders. The ladder works great. Solved my problem of having to hold the door open for instant access to the back of my blazer. The rear window does not match the door. would recommend.
