large, heats up well but handles so hot

I bought this item to help us reheat food both indoors and outdoors. I've only used it 2 times indoors. My most recent experience was reheating a large pizza while we ate it. I've only used it 2 times but feel like I have enough reviews to share: PROS: 1. It's big enough to hold multiple plates. I could perfectly fit a large pizza pan on it.2. Its 2 handles came in handy for me to carry between the kitchen counter and dining area. Looks elegant.4. Warms up well and quickly. About 15 minutes after starting the application, I felt that the fever had already risen. It's rated at 400w so I could use it in my 500w power station. This professional turns a warm tray into a portable device for us. We can easily use it anywhere outdoors with our power station, picnic, BBQ or beach. It runs on electricity so there is no candle smell like other food warmers we have had before. CONS: 1. The power cord is short. I had to use a dining table extender when I first used it without a power station in my hand.2. The pen got hot after 30 minutes of use. It was very hot. I have a very curious 3 year old daughter and this heated pen is very dangerous and not suitable for children. It shouldn't be hot. Maybe make it plastic instead of that stainless steel handle or with a keyboard. I would give her a 4 if her pen wasn't too hot like I described above. I like it so far.

Pros
  • SMOOTH GLASS TOP: Sleek, compact design with black tempered glass top and stainless steel inserts looks great on any table or sideboard. The revolutionary glass plate design makes cleaning easier.
Cons
  • Damaged
