After my last vacuum cleaner sucked poorly, this one was a real treat. All additional tools make it easier to reach hard-to-reach places (ceiling, stairs, under furniture and hard-to-reach corners). The stick jumps up too! It also works great on tile, linoleum and hardwood. There are a few things to get used to as I've never owned a canister vacuum and having two separate pieces to pull can be a little awkward at first. There's also no pressure support, but I've found that if you don't press on the vacuum (definitely my bad habit) it's pretty darn easy, just lightly press.
